Pathways to Teaching Success

Overview of the Program

Connecticut Center for Teaching’s Pathways: The Road to Teaching Success is a program free and open to all faculty and staff in the Connecticut Community College system. It is especially directed to faculty within their first three years of full-time employment.

The focus is on teaching strategies and innovative learning opportunities. It is explicitly didactic in nature: that is, workshops teach participants specific concepts and techniques, and focus on practical implementation in the college classroom.

Pathways typically offers two workshops in the fall and one in the spring. Faculty are free to attend all or any of the workshops. Each individual workshop stands on its own but is also part of the whole; those who attend all workshops will have a unique experience each time.
