Schwab Leadership Conference

Background

This annual spring conference responds to the needs of faculty in leadership roles, department chairs, program coordinators, committee chairs, and those who aspire for a leadership position. The Schwab Leadership Conference envisions campus leaders as not simply managers but also as innovators in areas of curriculum, student learning, and college-community relationships. Schwab explores contemporary leadership issues while developing skills and abilities in current or aspiring leaders at all levels. The Conference defines leadership broadly and believes that community college professionals can lead in any role – as teachers, community activists, advisors – and in all aspects of the community’s life.
